Allamah Abdulqawi, a former advisor to Egypt’s Awqaf minister, wrote in a post on X that Ayatollah Khamenei was martyred in a brutal terrorist attack by the US and Zionist regime.

Citing a verse from the Holy Quran, he said that men like Ayatollah Khamenei deserve to die only as martyrs.

He said Ayatollah Khamenei who spent his life on the path of jihad for Al-Aqsa Mosque sought martyrdom sincerely and achieved it.

Abdulqawi wrote in another post on X that if Arab rulers recognized the power, happiness and accomplishments that they would reach, they would strive to support Iran.

Just imagine the Arab would without this illegitimate regime (Israel), he stated.

Meanwhile, the Al-Azhar Fatwa and Research Foundation issued a statement, signed by Sheikh Abdulqawi which deems it Wajib (obligatory) to support the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting the US-Israeli aggression.

It is Wajib for every Muslim to stand by his other Muslims against infidels and it is forbidden for them to support infidels or justify their acts of aggression or for alliances with them, the statement said.
